Ho’oponopono Reiki – What and Why

The Why

I have been practicing reiki for decades, and have never felt like something was missing. There is nothing missing. It is in and of itself incredible.
However, when I saw the course for Ho’oponopono Reiki advertised, I knew that Ho’oponopono could add something incredibly powerful. I get messages about spiritual classes, healing classes and more all the time. Sometimes I read them with interest, but I have rarely felt so drawn to something that I knew would work as when I read about learning Ho’opnopono Reiki.
Resentment and regret are two emotions that can sidetrack me from my path and the Ho’oponopono mantra has been a life changer for me.

I am sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you

Why combine Reiki and Ho’oponopono?
It’s human to make mistakes, to feel, anger, shame, and to carry negative beliefs and emotional wounds, sometimes years or decades old. These create congestion around our energy centres, and can make us feel stuck, exhausted, and desperate for change.

We use Reiki to bring our energy centres into balance in a gentle, healing way that is very effective. When we add Ho’oponopono we contribute to a profound emotional release that frees us from the past.
The treatment helps us to become more aligned with the highest vibrational frequencies where Reiki can be most effective, allowing it to flow freely, promoting healing on the physical, spiritual, and emotional levels.

The What

The word Ho’oponopono means To make right or to Bring things back to balance. It is an ancient Hawaiian practice that originated within the social and spiritual framework of ancient Hawaiian communities. Communal living being fundamental to daily life at the time.

Problems were not seen as the issue of a single person; instead, it was intertwined with the lives of all associated family members. Healing and resolution were viewed as communal responsibilities with the understanding that the well-being of one was deeply linked to the well-being of all.

A modern form of Ho’oponopono emerged In the 20th century, created by Morrnah Simeona, a native Hawaiian kahuna (healer), who adapted Ho’oponopono to make it accessible for individuals in the modern world. There was a shift from a family-centered process that focused on communal responsibility to one that could be practiced on an individual level leading to personal reconciliation, forgiveness, and healing.

Ho’oponopono Reiki is now available at Heart Centred Reiki and can be delivered in person or by distance. If you would like to experience this powerful healing with a difference, book online, or contact Noelene.
