I recently wrote a series of blogs about animal communication. energy healing, and the support an end of life pet doula can provide. Last week I posted one about end of life, and received messages from three people that their pet was about to transition, would transition in the next month or so, or was actively dying. None of them had seen the blog, it was the kind of “coincidence” that Reiki makes happen all the time!
I was busy, but able to move things around to work with these beloved pets…. and the love I felt from them. The stillness and peace that I could feel and the grieving pet parents were able to witness.
They all lived either interstate, or a different part of the state to me, but distant healing is so incredibly effective, that it didn’t matter where they live.
One animal was being euthanised the following day and I was able to hold space for him during the process, I am grateful to him and his family for that.
I don’t need a reminder as to why I love this job so much, but if I did, this would be it.
