Much of my career over the past few decades has included an element of teaching, and it is something I truly love.
What I value most is supporting people in their personal development, so it felt like a natural step to begin teaching Reiki not long after I established myself in Black Range. It is incredibly rewarding work. I get to witness people blossom, grow in confidence, and often form meaningful, long-term friendships along the way.
So, I was thrilled when Heart Centred Reiki graduate Helena Veal asked if I would consider teaching Reiki Level 1 at Soul Garden Therapies in Melbourne.
Helena is an intuitive and deeply compassionate healer (or practitioner?). She is attuned to all levels of Reiki, though she has chosen not to teach at this stage. Instead, she focuses on offering treatments—and having experienced her work firsthand, I can say it is truly something special. Her Reiki sessions are powerful on their own and even more transformative when combined with the other modalities she offers, including hypnotherapy, counselling, and Akashic Record readings.
Helena’s clients are incredibly fortunate. Not only do they have access to her beautiful range of services, but they are also supported by someone who genuinely cares about their well-being. Helena understands that the ability to practise self-Reiki can be life-changing, and she has the insight—and courage—to make that available to others.
The world can never have too many people committed to self-care and spiritual growth through Reiki. This class filled very quickly, testament to Reiki’s power to support health and well-being.
