For anyone who find it difficult to comprehend the concept of Reiki – healing through energy; coming to grips with the concept of Distance Reiki may be a tall order!
Distance Reiki can be done in several ways, but the impact is usually the same. Distance reiki occurs when the client or participant is not in the same room, in fact they do not even have to be in the same country or continent.
Using special techniques, that are taught at Reiki 2 level and creating an intent for healing relevant to the client is all that is required.
Most of the distant healing that comes out of the Heart Centred Reiki studio is done over the Internet, (particularly to those in similar time zones). One of the few benefits of COVID is that many more people are now comfortable using the Internet for a broad range of activities and many are now comfortable receiving reiki via the Internet.
My experience of distance reiki sessions is that they are as effective as in-person reiki, possibly more so because some of us are more relaxed in our own homes.
It is increasingly understood that we are more than our physical bodies. We also have an energy body which is how Reiki can be sent across time and space. As the Laws of Quantum Physics become more accessible we will understand distance reiki better.
Distance Reiki is real. It is effective and it can take place with or without you.
